In 2011, the Park and Recreation Center in Franklin, Indiana held a skate contest to help promote skateboarding and to raise money for developing a new park. There were several skateboard shops around the U.S. and local volunteers that participated. I donated my time by creating thank you cards for all the sponsors involved in the event.
